Today I will sit masked and distanced on our front porch that is wrapped in plastic, and celebrate my dearest and only daughter, Susanna, as she and I celebrate the day she was born and the beautiful life she leads.

I am so grateful she is near and that we have such a gift of touching each other deeply, truthfully, and most compassionately. We have traveled bravely together through much change and she knows her own ways and mine.

We honor each other each day we live and have lived. I saved up many things, old and new, for her honoring day and her aunties and other crone mamas have created many ways to renew herself at this time.

Robert and I (her mama and papa) remember how she entered Maine and the willingness for all of us, and she had the courage for the alchemical position that we now celebrate in, was in place at that time and many times past and present.

The courage to free oneself and assist in this freedom is immense. We will all sit today in the freedom this pandemic has assisted us all to vibrate at even a more powerful frequency. "We can respond to conflict in one of two ways, We can react or create.
