Air Seed of Ether: Transformation

9.28.10

Up early, misty and magical on the river. I’m waiting for the central focus to appear within the layers of this morning.

I am wondering if magic still happens, or is it just something we read about?

“Now fades the glimmering landscape on the sight, and all the air a solemn stillness holds.” Thomas Gray, Elegy Written in a Country Churchyard., Dr. John Munford, “Magical Tattwas”

This day has been so shifting and so many levelled creatively, that I am sure it was transforming and intentionally visually stimulating.

Our son and his sweetheart were here at our studio all day and we shifted between food, photography, printing, the river, the tide, the toys, the books, and even a photography treasure hunt, where we had a list and each of us photographed, in the studio, our interpretation of that list.

The differences were so fun and perspectively different. We stayed in this world all day and I did feel transformed by it.

Air seed of ether. Unlimiting our inspiration by play, conversation, and speculating on the magical.
