I feel at times I am in competition with time itself. I try to make more time inside of time itself. I try different angles to enter time, where I create less disturbance so I can move through it so easy, that I can actually increase it.

I now find that waiting for time increases it for me. I don't have to reset or regroup as often, & I can see more that is around me that I thought I did not have time for.

Slow motion begins to happen where time multiples inside itself. To move more smoothly through this position I must let time have its dance with me. After all it did buy a ticket. We will have a dance across the room & then have a cup of tea, & bathe with Fire & dry with Water. Getting an early start on this hot seat.

Beautiful morning & slept well. Robert is getting over a sinus infection & I am so grateful. We have both been working on the computer to create a new website, 'Feeding the Creative Child', and eventually our current site, 'Situla Codex', so we can be a support in these times.

Computer work always creates body tension for both of us & we have come a long way into its preparation. This is hard on jaws, teeth, and sinus, neck, & nervous system. This is the time of bringing mental into physical.

Many resistances arise & we forgive ourselves. Sometimes we feel a bit small & old for our tasks. We must mature our Intent & this week needs this Clarity. I am amazed at the support & love we have in our family & guidance.

Looking deeper into the compassion we must not only give, but also receive. Continuing our practice of meditation, yoga, Chi Gong, & walking is essential to stay able, as we advance the germ seed essence of this work into the present reality.

Years ago I saw a film, 'Krull', that so exemplifies the journey of this alchemical position. I always watch it at least once a year to remind myself of this complexity & how to journey through it & succeed.

Life is so complex, but simple right now, that we must use every imaginary tool to support our deeper understanding of the mystery all around us, to not lose our acceleration needed.

Film, art, books, poems, play, can help us rotate with more ease from one position to the next. Do not think that isolating yourself from beauty & the wisdom of play will help you focus. This in itself will completely lose your needed focus.

Today I must allow exploration, play, & Gaia to feed my creative child. It is in this allowing my legs can drop down into place, so they can support me. Walked yesterday, today I will bend deeper into color & allow the joy of our work to fill me up, so I can roll over into what I am now building. This depth is what helps one to roll over.

Inside a morning that squares our perspective is where we need to be, to make this easier. The time it takes to listen is much shorter than one thinks. In so many ways we push on thinking the push knows more than we do.

This morning I feel I have no time for anything, but there is nothing more important than taking time to take care of myself. I realize I must, as always, wait for it to come to me. If I don't push it always will. 

After so many years of throwing myself out to go to school, take care of the children, & work, I am in new territory as I grow more intuitive each day. What we accomplish is so much part of our self esteem. This is not easy to undo.

Loving my body, take care of my body, listen to my feelings & subtle nuances is a new language that I stopped my old life to learn. After 30 years I am still learning in deeper layers that have become automatic & even robotic.

A new language that finds the castle, roots out the briars, & coaxes me awake to a real life.

The seed essence of containment will alone supplement the body in days like this, when the containment of rainwater will insure a certain amount of grace & forgiveness. I prepare this morning for our Alchemical Rede Class, & I feel a letting down of the efforts of this week & how my body subtly releases its jurisdiction.

The Water runs through my charred areas of alchemical need. Answers come and go, relate, & relieve. I am more accustomed to a slower smaller move in this time, but not this week. I kept the Fire fed, even if at times I felt a bit lit too high.

The narrow of each day needed to be widened & rewritten & recalculated. It is amazing that the rise of one seed attracts a whole garden & the woods must make room for the meadow lark. I do know this position & I have learned to do this when needed. 

I will begin with a hot shower & some yoga to engage some conversation with my appetite for movement. Tiny steps wisely laid creates success in this alchemically fired time.

Up early to get near water at the ocean & cool out my, oh so fiery self. Working on our book, 'Yoga, The Appetite of Movement'. I have so loved working with this in all its layers. The creative tension of excitement that runs through my frame sets me on the top of my work.

The spider webs in the fog of the boardwalk was so mapping for me. Spider webs caught beautifully, all along the fence along the harbor. Lush delicacy blowing in & out with the breeze. Like breath, like pattern breath. The fog being all that was behind them.

In the tension of their mapping, blowing out & back. It calmed me in my existence, & I know the patterns of life must be able to stretch & breathe.

The silence of fog penetrates & leads us on out into the unknown thoughts that are present to travel us out of fear, tension, or entanglement.

"I feel my body is sitting inside this today & I loosen my hold on anything. I walked by the ocean & now I sit in the garden to write. I feel more open to doing little, & leaning deeper into the comfort of a stillness that commands my mind to open to the heart of myself.

There is a slight wobble in the wiggle of each day & one must listen to the slightest of shift in the balance, to utilize the creative tension early in the flow of what it is ready to pulse into place.

Once one moves backwards to move forward, one gets used to the little dance of success. This allows one to balance opposites in a very pattern of balance. The freedom needed is the letting go of the order of things, to build a new order.

Sitting inside the tender of myself & moving slowly after such an extended & extensive day yesterday in the garden. Keeping my ear to the floor, I hear the rustling needed to learn place & position of each plant.

I must take this slower & listen even more intently. I sit inside the fold of the Garden, as it begins to make its crease. We have tried to make this fold a thin fold, so we can bend deeper into it.

Dirt is beginning to move in all the pots & troughs, & the movement is assisted by our repositioning of our Intent & opening to the gravity of this time. Our grandsons helped us yesterday, & I was amazed & inspired by the grace of their giving. They are rugged, & determined, & kind.

We all worked in tandem with an awareness of each other's strengths & weaknesses, so much more was done than we even imagined. Today we will enter again & move our soreness into the movement of dirt & the creative tension needed, to build a cornerstone in the center of the curve.

Gardening is deep Alchemy & we can engage in it to heal ourselves & our world, which is caught in the cave of a blink.

What a wad that is & it can only be realized when you realize that competitive energy builds that way. When you touch into it, you only do it when you know your intent clearly. Staying in continuous touch with your Intention will keep you clear enough to not get trapped in it. To know who you are is essential & only begin when you are ready to be an intended element.

It is beautiful this morning & being the 1st day of May, the elements are inside of April, but have mostly emerged as May. This is why the creative tension is present, & I realize I have been able to move through this as I have before.

I am the bidder, the calmer, the potentiator, & the existor. The full purpose of this alchemy is to create a whole new universal potency that can love in a deeper sequence. I must bathe with Fire & dry with the flow of Water.

In bathing with Fire, I must flow with heat like Water. I must also allow the waters of my Intent to set my grid work. It is good for me to let my day begin as the other day ends. I can take the heated waters of the day to warm my dreaming, till I am ready to begin again.

I can feel the intricateness & complexity of this position in this phase around. There is a strangeness of something new, something more complex, but simple.

To sit with this strangeness is key. Walk around it & let it walk around you. There is a nerve that has been touched by this strangeness. I must assume I have started, because this strangeness is because of something.

What did I uncover right under my skin? Right under my mycelial layers of life? Something is pulled back & seen. This time I feel something on my plate that I have never had before. It has cracked open & shining its light within me.

I have not, as of yet, found its name. The Mystery lays in many layers deep inside of us. We peel back more each time we ask for a squared perspective. The tell-tale sign is a curled & curved red thread, a spiral from the spine of our creative tension.

After turning my thought around & around, like a puzzle, I finally realize I am already where I am. I feel my way through an initiatory phase & comply my words to what I already know & feel.

Restoration of self is always strong at this time, & I wonder where I have been. Confusion is a wonderful teacher, & it leaves little unturned. Just like Spring, I must turn over the dirt of myself & always add worms.

The electrical confusion of kundalini has definitely turned me over & over during this passion, & I have had to stay fresh to my practice to assure to balance the flame.

I have spent hours this week walking, laying directly on the earth, to insure my connection with the trees & their direct connection to the mycelial lineage of Gaia.

When the elements within us cast a shadow upon each other, we become more imbalanced in our outer world. I find at these times I must engage the creative tension & explore how to navigate it in a new way.

I bend into myself & look around & see what I can adjust. My knowing self needs to sit down with my feeling self. They together must intuit their way through, & I must listen carefully to the subtle & unsubtle differences.

 I have one last flat to seed of Water Seed of Fire. Nasturtium's Fire & Lettuce's Water. Moving carefully from inside preparations to outer garden preparation. All vital to the beginning, I must not try to jump to the end with my sight, enthusiasm, & pure love of spring.

I must gradually appear on the horizon & trust the coming of the pulse I am listening for. The pitch of winter is still here a bit, & I must honor it & all its deep gifts that too must enter the Garden Plan.

Allowing the awakening to current gradually like the Garden inside of me. I will manage my current of excitement more gently, so I can land well on my feet.

Water Seed of Fire: Creative Tension

"It requires a very skillful alchemist to burn fire under water, & indeed to float fire upon a bed of water. When done, success is assured.", Dr. John Mumford, Magical Tattwas.

This is a time to sit deeply & allow the friction to flow on through without engaging it, but instead beginning to notice that you do not any longer benefit from adding up your numbers too quickly.

In this kind of rhythm 1+1 does not add up to 2. One may create 4 in another way, that listens deeper & waits for 4 to come to it. We often find that we can create more & multiply the build, by slowly accepting the build in a whole new way.

The sequence of A to Z has changed, & the order of life does not add up the same way. Instead of 1+2 creating 3, they wait for 3 to create them. This allows a sacred alchemical rhythm, that shifts creative tension into a unified promise of potential.

Today I am up earlier than most. I realize that I am in a new creative rhythm, that is in the process of allowing me to bathe with fire & dry with water. Working with smaller pieces, breaking down the demand, & waiting for the answer to ask the question.

Do not shave words out, but instead wait for them to emerge as they were born alive. Swaddle them up & let them adjust to the light, as if it is organically orgasmic.
