Air Seed of Water: Calm

Sometimes the alchemical process takes longer and one must look even deeper into the flow of life.

We kayaked today from Warren to Thomaston, but in the late afternoon rather than morning, as we did before, from 2 to 6pm. It so much was a different trip, but we learned a lot. Do not start before high tide, even though the water is up, because you are going to have to paddle against the tide. We did that from 2 to 3:30.

In the afternoon there is much more wind, so you don't just float, as we did in the early morning. you maneuver the very choppy waters and there is no painting, reading, or musing. The eagles are more out in the morning than afternoon, but the kingfishers are more seen.

When the tide finally shifts, rolls over, it is such a definite feeling and you go from pulling against the tide to being pushed. At one point, where the sea and river meet, there are many many whirlpools and it was a little scary at first, because I could hardly paddle through them. Then Robert realized that we needed to just slow down and the tide pulled us through, while we used our paddles as rudders.

So all of this was a physical experience of what was all in the mind and head yesterday. So now I don't just know and understand air seed of water, but I know what it feels like, too. Sometimes a process of alchemy has to leave the cauldron and move into the body.

Air Seed of Water: Calm

7.14.10

Today, the calm that came in from the storm, the isolated that forced open the door of the bird cage, the fire that stripped away the unnecessary, so the immediate could have a place in the mind.

I started out early with the dawn, and the expression was soft and cozy, and I knelt in the silence of my own curling. I spoke to the day and asked for cozy.

I was on the edge of the brim of the cauldron, and I have walked around its narrow brim. Cautious, so as not to fall in, albeit so I do not miss the signals, I took no risks beyond what was present to me, and I felt the cozy of place and the movement of only what was real in my life.

Air seed of water is not a time of losing what we have built, but a time of preserving what we have built, and allowing "the cycle to roll over into new opportunity", Dr. John Munford, "Magical Tattwas".

I love the roll over, because it was so like today. All that has been becoming has rolled over into something less complex, more simple. Simple is a signal for me right now. If it is too hard, it has not yet rolled over.

My life is becoming a fine toothed comb, and I can see what tangles and what does not. If it is too tangled, the confusion is still there, so I wait until my fine toothed comb can move through with ease. There is power in this and this is why a comb is a symbol of power for women. With its fine teeth, it can know what is tangled and what is not.

Wise women have this power, and they erase the tangles in life with their fine toothed combs, so their minds can be free.

Air Seed of Air: The Supernal Nurturer

Today the air of new life needs so much room, and I have had to just literally lay down into its effusive and consuming feeling.

All plans have changed, and there has needed to be an alertness to the signals of the day; physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual. There has been a current that has made me feel so one with its passage, that I have had to let go of everything, most of all, my mind.

In this time there is a totality that is needed, that keeps the mind focused on one task at a time, and this task is where the mind needs to be.

There is a shift moving through the alchemy of this day that will, on a larger scale, embody an expansion in consciousness. In order to be part of and support this expansion, I realize I must be even more focused on the work I am unfolding, so it will be primary.

Air seed of air is what is now visioning a promise to all of mankind, and this is that the element of air will lift up the veil of memory, and give air to the mind of expansion.

Expansion is the air of realization that begins to know the unknowable, while the vessel of the body is still full of breath. Air seed of air is a 2-way stretch, a Jacob's Ladder, above and below, past and present to future, through the past of realization.

Earth Seed of Fire: Potential

7.12.10

Beautiful, cooler. Now after the last two days it is time to start, and creativity is the focus. I felt so much better today, but I had to sit back outside of the potential, because there was so much that developed during the waiting.

I needed to feel which was now and which was later. This is an important piece in the process of Earth seed of fire.

The full capacity of this day laid in its gentleness, not its push. Many people, and sometimes me, think "start" is run, and pretty soon you are ahead of your own body.

The location of what is priority can be felt right in the gut. When there is a struggle for first place, the wrestling is usually in the stomach, and the best way to break up the match is to stop, sit down, and feel through it.

The priority will be the simplest, easiest, and with little fire, because it is already heated up. If you find yourself digging it out of a mess, or an old closet, it is not it. It will come later, when the closet is priority.

If it is too hard to figure out, it is at the bottom of the heap. Take what is on top and there will be enough order to complete it.

Earth seed of fire is a wondrous time in the alchemical process, because it holds the potential and hope of what is now ready. The seed is held within the potential of your own cauldron of creative imagination. You must build a foundation around your original idea, that will create the gold that you will consume, as you generate a future that will support fully, what you have conceived as whole and complete.

Fire Seed of Air: Perseverance

7.10/11.10

Rain, foggy, wet, damp, and hot. Fire seed of air is about knowing when to keep going-- to endure, to know that there is peace beyond the frustration, there is resolution beyond the trial. This is when we stop, rest, and go within, and then go forward.

The last two days have been hot, muggy, and even oppressive at times from the heat of fire, and seemingly not enough free air. This is when it is hard to think, to create, and one must know that everything is in the furnace of making.

There is much push to quit, or make a rash decision that one later sees is not necessary, so I know during this time to be suspicious of any bridge burning, or to move something that is not ready, and cannot even calculate what I think or need.

This is when I just lay low, feel soft, unwind my mind, my mouth, and my body. I do not try to work, create, or install. After I have come to this point, I finally play. Play is the most powerful act one can do in this point of the alchemical process. I meditate, I sleep, I look at magazines, I do not engage.

Usually after I move into this mode, after much kicking and screaming, I become much more open and allowing of time. I realize what is making room and I begin to move over and allow it a larger space for more, not less. This frustrating space is hard, because we are more vulnerable to what want to push in, to fit, but is not the right size. It is kind of the Cinderella slipper phase. The slipper will only fit Cinderella and all the fat feet cannot not fit, so I wait for her.

Ether Seed of Fire: Incubation

7.9.10

Time is now ready for the expansion of freedom, and the expression of vitality that gives us room. It is in this time of incubation we need to become clear in our ways of being with our self, so how we are with others will be clear of confusion.

A window is opening and I can see through the glass of its transparency. There is deep meaning in this time and it is my business to reach across the abyss of the unknown, and begin to see within my own imagination what is riding on the back of the wind.

A full meaning, of what has been hidden within the codes of becoming whole. To live within the wholeness is to accept much without explanation. To gather numbers, words, letters, and lines, without knowing their origin or relationship, is to be in incubation. In this time I have to look to the lightness of life like a child. I must play, laugh, and create a complexity of brightness that will embody the fire needed to heat the emblic egg.

I must call for this heat, but not lose sight of what is becoming more revealed. The bright star of the night sky makes herself known to me, and she chooses the feminine to embody the frailty of this time, so a presence of love will be hatched whole and intact, when the heat of the ellipse passage cools and the water flows.

Air Seed of Earth: Squaring the Circle

This problem can never be solved with a straight edge and compass, as it is an esoteric statement that can only be approached through mental alchemy." Dr. John Munford, "Magical Tattwas".

This is an evolving part of alchemy that grows stronger, as each level of foundation is made through the repeated process of transformation.

We take each level in our lives and press it, as a felted piece into the next, till the tapestry of our complexity is seen, as the reality of who we are in form. The airy ideas of our mind are given space, in the womb of our earth body, taking the complexity of a being conceived in the mind of the dreamer, and bringing it into the womb of formation.

I find that I have been pregnant all my life, in one way or another, because I love the process of creating matter on the plane of physical. I have a muse that accompanies me in every moment I live, and this muse is arch angelic, because it arcs into the angles needed to give me an exact angle of penetration, from the dreamer of the great work.

Air seed of earth is the arch angle of Squaring the Circle, where what is given is heard, made ready, sown, nurtured, born, and made real. The earth is the womb, and the circle is the idea encircling the womb, so the seed is not forgotten.

The Kabbalah calls these muses, the Maggid, and a relationship with them takes sometimes many years to fully develop, but it is immense.

Fire Seed of Earth: Alchemy

7.7.10

Alchemy is the sacred art of watching the volume of life within a code of reference. This reference gives ease to the many equations of the mind, as it tries to add up what is, and divides or separates what is not. I have often wondered why we become so absorbed in something and then all at once we are not. Is this completion, or distraction?

I have found that it all depends on where you are in the alchemical process, and how many levels one has completed. They both, often, look alike, but are the opposite. There is a real formation of change that happens in this difference, and we learn to differentiate it by feeling the intricate patterns that create completion, or the emptiness of distraction, that has not yet built anything upon itself.

When I hear thought that cannot create anything but challenge, I realize it is only because it has never become. It cannot gather or weave. It cannot realize or expand. It can only challenge with its question with no answer. In this, though, it can create enough distraction, that you stop the alchemical process, and stay stuck in one part.

Fire seed of earth gives you the awareness of where you are, so you can ground your position and draw back the fire once again, into your creative life.

You know there is an order under the chaos of change, and you will move on through, till you know where you are, and complete the phase of needed increase, for the motion to finish, and you are in completion.

The current is free and the elements merge once again.
